New Entry is the first rate when Sea Cadets join and is also the one where you will learn some of the most important pieces of information.

Before Promotion you must:

 

Have been recommended to your Divisional Officer by your Instructor for promotion

Complete of the New Entry Workbook

Be recomended by your Divisional Officer

 

Subs must be up to date and you should have paid your £20 joining fee.

 

Other things you may achieve:

 

Sea Cadet Corps Swimming Test

Water Safety Certificate

Pulling Competent Crew
