31 Jan 2007 - No Canada Trophy this year

The Canada Trophy competition has  been scrapped in a complete rethink to the awards aims. There has for a number of years been a contraversy over how the award has been allocated, many have remarked the Trophy is awarded to the unit who can "put on a good show" as apposed to the best acheiving unit.

Sea Cadet HQ are to rethink the award and it is rumoured that it will be changed to come in line with the award for the best Marine Cadet Detachment (The Gibraltar Cup).
