25 Feb 2007 - Area Drill and Piping Competition

Preston Entered both a Guard (13 Cadets)and a Contest Class Squad (9 Cadets) this year both teams did very well.

The Squad came first and as an added bonus the squad commander picked up the best squad commander.

The Guard were less lucky and unfortunately were let down by a member of their team. The decision was made late on Saturday night not to replace the missing team member due to a lack of time to train a replacement, and the Guard started a man and 3% of the marks down.

The Guard finished 3rd.

Well done to all that attended as it was a good show all round. Hopefully you will all be ready to compete again next year.
